Customs clearance — import and export documentation
For export from India, the key document is the Shipping Bill (sea/air export). For import into India, a Bill of Entry is required. Both require a valid IEC (Importer Exporter Code) from DGFT.
On the European side: EORI number verification, HS code (Combined Nomenclature) classification, EU TARIC duty calculation, import VAT (21% in Lithuania, calculated on the CIF value), and import declaration filing. We also assist with EUR.1 certificates and certificates of origin where applicable.
Axis Logics manages EU-side customs clearance. For Indian customs procedures, we work with licensed CHAs (Customs House Agents) as partners. We do not hold a CHA licence ourselves.
