Road freight between Europe and the Baltics
Road freight between Europe and the Baltic States means moving your cargo by truck between European countries and Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, in both directions. Axis Logics organises the flow: FTL (full truck loads) and LTL / groupage for smaller consignments, coordinated through a network of partner and subcontractor carriers. A particular real-world pattern we handle is freight from Europe into the Baltics — for example goods moving from Germany, Poland or the Netherlands to a consignee in Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia — but we work the reverse direction too. Tell us the origin, destination and cargo and we come back with a mode, price and route. Tel. +370 649 71149, sales@axislogics.eu.
Lanes we cover
We organise road freight across Europe with a focus on the Baltic States. Core lanes include:
- Germany ↔ Baltics — one of the busiest corridors for manufacturing and trade freight into and out of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
- Poland ↔ Baltics — a natural land bridge between Central Europe and the Baltics.
- Netherlands ↔ Baltics — connecting the Benelux gateways with Baltic consignees.
- Scandinavia ↔ Baltics — Finland, Norway and Denmark to and from the Baltic States.
- Baltics ↔ Kazakhstan — a specialist corridor we cover for freight between the Baltics and Central Asia.
Not on the list? These are our core lanes, not our limits. We organise road freight broadly across Europe — send us your origin and destination and we build the route.
Equipment & load types
We match the equipment to the cargo and the lane:
- FTL — full truck loads for larger or time-sensitive consignments.
- LTL / groupage / part loads — cost-efficient for smaller shipments that share space on a truck.
- Mega trailers — extra internal height and volume for voluminous freight.
- Refrigerated / temperature-controlled (reefer) — for food and other temperature-sensitive cargo.
- Food-grade tankers — for liquid bulk; for bulk wine and wine material see our bulk wine transport page.
Cross-trade is part of what we do: the cargo does not need to originate in, terminate in or transit Lithuania. As a forwarder based in the Baltics, we can coordinate a shipment directly between two other European countries.
Customs & transit support
Where a route involves a non-EU leg, we support the transport with the customs paperwork that keeps the truck moving — T1 transit, EX1 / export declarations, import clearance and transit coordination. This is support for the road freight we organise rather than a standalone service: we align the customs steps with the transport so the two work together on lanes such as the Baltics–Kazakhstan corridor.
Who we serve
We organise road freight between Europe and the Baltics for:
- Manufacturers moving raw materials and finished goods.
- Trading houses and distributors with recurring commercial freight.
- Food & beverage businesses, including temperature-controlled and food-grade liquid loads.
Our focus is recurring, commercial road freight — regular lanes where a reliable forwarder and the right carrier make the difference.

Axis Logics is a freight forwarder. We do not own a fleet — we organise your road freight end to end using a network of partner and subcontractor carriers, selecting the right equipment for your cargo, route and schedule.
